Ride Reports

The snow usually begins to arrive in mid to late October. Some locals will get a ride up the cabin at that time, but there are many hazards; stumps, rocks and creeks, that are not covered. Traditionally there is pretty good coverage by mid to late November and people begin venturing onto Boulder, Sale and other local areas. There are usually lots of hazards still and it is recommended that you be cautious, lest you damage your sled and or hurt yourself. You need to be aware of any avalanche hazards, see the link below to the Avalanche Canada website, so be careful, come back alive. Presently there has been significant accumulation of snow, not only in Town, but more importantly, up top. The recent system resulted in significant snow on almost all parts of Boulder and Frisby, with more on the way.
